“If I can't even really understand that my brain is different, does that mean I'm not actually very empathetic and that I can’t really see different perspectives”—> i feel you on this!! Side note, Seeing myself as a pollinator really helped me to embrace the 49 open tabs in my head !!

I failed the ADHD intake because I couldn’t answer the Qs about my childhood 😆 Just couldn’t remember a thing they ask about!

Oh geez, sorry, I’m not diagnosed. Should’ve phrased my comment better. I meant in terms of people our age being diagnosed with adhd and judging them.

When I first started hearing about it I was like, whatever…you haven’t had it for like 40+ years and now you do? But hearing stories like yours helps in changing perspective.
